Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program at Hajgden International College is designed to equip students with the required knowledge, skills, and professional dispositions to provide innovative health care across the lifespan through the roles of provider care, designer of care, member of the profession, and member of the interdisciplinary team. Students will experience an education that:

Hajgden International College Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program focuses on evidence-based techniques that can enhance the quality of care and outcomes for patients. Graduates are prepared to work in primary health care settings and/or nursing education. The BSN program is designed to prepare graduates to advance in the nursing field.  Method of Delivery: 100% online.

As a graduate of this BSN program, you will be equipped to:

Provide holistic mental health care, using information and nursing research to address complex mental health care cases

  • — Care for children, young people, adults and elder adults
  • — Offer psychological counseling (psychotherapy)
  • — Provide patients and clients education on coping skills
  • — Prescribe medication and monitor patient progress

Career Outlook

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the aging population is not only driving the demand for affordable health care services, but also the growing costs for those services. Individuals 65 and above are spending almost three times more than the working-age population. Nurses with specialty education and advanced skills are needed now more than ever, to provide high quality care at more reasonable costs.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the employment market for nursing is expected to grow by 6 percent from 2021 to 2031, with an average opening of 203,200 each year. These openings will arise due to retiring workers or those who are exiting from the profession altogether. The median salary for registered nurses was about $77,600 as of May 2021.

Admissions

Applicants will complete and submit the application/enrollment agreement with the $150 non-refundable application fee to the school’s admissions office.

Minimum requirements for admission to the Nursing (BSN) Program include:

  1. Official college/university transcript with minimum 90 quarter hour credits with at least 22.5 quarter hours of general education credits with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.

Semester credits must be relevant for applicants coming from semester-system schools.

  1. — Completed the Application for Admission and submission of application fee.
  2. — Official Registered Nursing school transcript.
  3. — Current Registered Nursing Licensure (or written proof of clearance to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam).
  4. — Copy of current CPR certificate that will remain current for duration of the program.
